Visionpool Business Services is hiring a Project Manager.
This opportunity can be REMOTE but some travel including overnight will be required.
Responsibilities:
Create a project plan in Microsoft Project based off developer estimates and timeframes ensuring that dependencies within the project and within the program are accounted for.
Create and maintain project RAID logs
Create status update materials, run various project meetings to keep the project on track
Create Test Strategy, Test Plan and administer test management
Facilitate benefits management workshops and create S.M.A.R.T goals that can be measured over the short and long-term
Track items that come out of project quality reviews and create metrics that are reportable to the Steering Committee and Project Leadership Team
Act as a Testing SME as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in managing projects with expertise across all knowledge areas
Project Management Professional certification is required
Experience in managing projects related to business intelligence and enterprise resource planning (ERP) Microsoft Fabric, ibi/Tibco Suite or Oracle Cloud Fusion would be considered an asset
Ability to quickly catch on to a project already in progress by reviewing project artifacts and solutioning material ie. decision items, blueprints and so on.
Ability to keep project moving toward successful completion in face of aggressive schedule and to coordinate with other interdependent projects or programs.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis quickly and problem-solve in real time
Ability to provide information regarding tasks, plans, schedule, strategies, and project structures to stakeholders.
Ability to manage complex stakeholder and resource relationships.
Ability to create a program-related benefit management plan along with creating and managing on-project metrics.
Ability to create energetic team-oriented on-project communications.
Ability to conduct test planning and management
