Visionpool Business Services is hiring PROJECT ANALYST who will be required primarily on-site in Regina for the duration of the engagement with consideration of occasional offsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
• This role is specifically intended to support an Enterprise Project Management
Office implementation of a new project management solution and much of the
engagement will be focused on acting as a subject matter expert within EPMO
supporting business user testing, documentation, data conversion validation, etc.
for the project.
• Project Coordinating: Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage calendars and
arrange appointments. Preparing agendas and taking minutes. Monitor emails and
communications on behalf of the Leads.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Coordinate with project teams and collect data to
perform various tasks. Analyze project data and tasks and provide insights to optimize
performance.
• Planning and Task Management: Proactive task planning including conducting internal
meetings to review tasks, collect information, and provide updates. Act as a primary
source of information for the leads about the tasks on each stream. Maintain current
knowledge applicable to each workstream.
• Project Documentation: Assisting with the preparation, maintenance, and organization
of project documentation on behalf of the leads.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor the activities set for each task and coordinate with the
project managers/project team within each workstream.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with teams outside the organization, such as
vendors, for the project's success. Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing
updates and information as needed.
• Support in decision making: Contribute to planning and overall strategy. Ensure
information gathered is decision ready
Qualifications:
• Project management education or certifications.
• Minimum of four 4 years' proven experience in project management or analytical roles
(i.e. project assistant, coordinator or similar).
• Minimum of four 4 years of proven experience working on cross functional project
teams.
• Proficiency with project management software, preferably Project Online, and proficiency
in SharePoint, Microsoft Office products, Outlook, and Microsoft teams.
• Proven experience in managing project records/documentation in a disciplined
approach.
• Proven ability to effectively plan.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and find innovative solutions.
• Self-starter that demonstrates curiosity to learn
