Visionpool Business Services is hiring a Senior Project Manager. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS LOCATED ON SITE IN REGINA, SK WITH CONSIDERATION OF OCCASIONAL OFFSITE WORK. 

 

Responsibilities:  

• Play a significant role in managing integrated project plans, coordinating activities across  

multiple workstreams, managing interdependencies, and driving actions, decisions,  

risks, issues, and dependencies to timely resolution. 

• Has overall project performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and  

deliverables which includes applying techniques for planning, monitoring, and reporting,  

change control, and risk and issue management. 

• Accountable for the management of external vendors and collaborates with vendors on  

delivery planning, schedule management, status reporting, risk and issues resolution,  

and coordinates governance approval process.  

• Works closely with the core project team members, which includes a representative from  

the business unit, IT, and OCM, to collaborate and ensure alignment in project goals and  

successful delivery of the project. 

• Orchestrates/coordinates activities across the program or project and problems solves  

with leads to address issues and risks and ensures adherence to key processes and  

expectations. 

• Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate project risks to minimize impacts to scope,  

schedule, budget, quality, and expected business outcomes. 

• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability across project participants and  

provide effective oversight of assigned work, deliverables, milestones, and  

commitments. 

• Ensure project deliverables satisfy approved business requirements, achieve intended  

outcomes, and meet quality, compliance, and organizational expectations. 

• Creates and manages the overall budget. 

• Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful project reporting to project sponsors,  

executives, steering committees, governance bodies, and other stakeholders regarding  

project progress, risks, issues, financial status, decisions, and overall project health. 

• Report, escalate, and recommend actions to management as required to support  

informed decision-making and prompt resolution of project challenges. 

• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance  

frameworks, policies, standards, practices, and reporting requirements throughout the  

project lifecycle. 

• Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all project  

documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, governance  

materials, decision logs, risk and issue registers, status reports, change requests,  

lessons learned, and project closure documentation. 

 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven IT program or project management experience in  

the role of a Project Manager managing multiple concurrent projects 

• Project management education and/or certifications (PMP) 

• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven vendor management experience. 

• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience managing cross functional project  

teams 

• Experience managing predictive, agile, and hybrid projects. 

• Proficiency with project management software.
