Business Analyst

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a REMOTE Business analyst who will support planned delivery and operational work, including enhanced production support for a custom-built Auto Fund DRIVE Platform. You will use Azure DevOps to plan and support products built on an event-based .NET microservices architecture, following modern development standards within a defined product-domain structure. In addition to their core Business Analyst responsibilities, they will assist with testing and perform Scrum Master duties as needed to maintain delivery momentum and team effectiveness. 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Gather stakeholder feedback, define and refine requirements, and support discovery and planning activities. 

  • Assist with delivery, testing, operational priorities, and the tracking and analysis of project progress and outcomes. 

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, perform Scrum Master duties as needed, remove barriers, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement. 

  • Strengthen Business Analyst coverage across DRIVE Product Teams to support competing priorities and reduce delivery risk. 

 

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience with the following technologies and skills: 

  • Azure DevOps 

  • Scrum 

  • Domain-Drive Design (DDD) 

  • Event Based Architecture 

  • Micro-services 

  • .NET using GIT and Visual Studio 

  • Azure based Authentication Platform 

  • Application Insights for monitoring and alerting 

  • Jest for automated testing 

  • Automated Development Pipelines 

  • Azure services for event database technologies 

  • Demonstrated experience working on a custom-built, event-based microservices application within a modern DevOps delivery team.
